dc.description.abstract | W e have performed a study on 1 71 sexually active women with ages between 19 and 64 years old. The women were divided into two groups: symptomatic and antisymptomatic ones. In these women we have appraised the incidence of the different vaginitis as a screening of ETS. We find sorne results similar to -that found by the authors of our environment, using the same diagnosis approach. But we found differences with those ones who basicaly work with high risk patients. W e only found a significant differences in the incidence of non-specific vaginitis with that found by national authors, that we attribute to controversies on terminology. W e analysed our diagnostica! approach with both the amines test and the test in fresh sample appraising its limits comparing it with the culture methods and its authentic diagnostical precisions. Finally, both the Gramm stain and the mici:-oinmunofluorecense are appraised in the diagnosis of the endocervicitis by Gonococci and chlamydias with unequal results. | en |
