K1 Capitalismo ascético K1 Educación AB This work is framed in the modality of "innovation or educational research", andmore specifically in the category of "critical theory and education". Therefore, in thiscase the purpose of it is to relate the ideas and proposals of some of the most prominentfigures of the Frankfurt School with the plans of contemporary educational theory, tohighlight the contradictions that in my own view hinder the success of the reformsundertaken. Critical theory suggests and allows a more complex vision of education,inserting its theoretical and practical framework in a very broad, historical, social andcultural scenario at the same time. The data, the empirical evidences, can then play asimply inspiring role, the spring that marks the beginning of the investigation. However,they will be irrelevant once they have taken the desired course. In short, I only intend tooffer an alternative approach to observe, under a different and perhaps unconventionalprism, the context in which the educational structure is based, and to propose a small orgreat correction for its theoretical reformulation and its practical development.
