T1 Horacio en las Epístolas en verso de Tomás de Iriarte

AB Horace was particularly relevant in the 18th century, specially in relation to literaryprecepts. Some of the genres cultivated by this poet were later assimilated by some writers ofthe 18th century. In this paper I am trying to study the influence of one ot those genres, theverse epistle, on an author from the Canary Island, Tomás de Iriarte, who was famous forhis literary fables as well as for his qualities as a humanist.
