AB University education is one of the pillars on which rests the labour market. The fact thatuniversities provide degrees with a syllabus adapted to the reality of the demands and needs ofcompanies is part of the success of a region, a sector or even a country. In the present Trabajode Fin de Grado, it is valued the current situation of the tourism sector in Spain compared to theCanary Islands. Then, it is analyzed the existing University training to insular level correspondingto the tourism sector to, subsequently, carry out a training catalogue about the various degreesthat are offered and to identify the homogeneity of the study programmes of different universitydegrees.
