AB The “Reform” provoqued a important change in the European religiosity..About theSpanish monarchy, after the Trento Council (XVI), the kings defended always the catholicfaith against the Lutherans.Only in the brief republican period (1931-1939) the Spanish gouvernement defended thelaicity.During the Spanish civil war (and when this war fnished), the Spanish government and thePope had an agreement manifested in the “Concordato” signed in 1953. This alliancesupposed that the bishop´s courts had the exclusive competence to judge the marriage cases.This work tries to analize how was the jurisdictional cooperation, until 1881 (Treatybeetwen Pope and Spanish gouvernement) .
