AB Following Andres de Arroyo y Gonzalez de Chaves life and work is possible to analize someof the political, social and economical expressions of Tenerife’s conservative middle classduring the first half of the 20th century. On this subject our study will emphasize thecatholic and regionalist ideology of Andrés de Arroyo. In the same way we will analize hisactivities as a canarian’s ruling class political representative during the Restoration’s Crisis,the Second Republic and the Spanish Civil War.
