AB They are known as non-pharmacological care or treatments to those servicesprovided by nurses in order to improve or avoid worsening health status andwithout the use of chemical compounds, such as medication.These cares include oxygen therapy, nutrition, postural changes, earlywandering, monitoring of vital signs, etc.In a Post-Anesthetic Resuscitation Unit, these cares are of paramountimportance as these are patients who have undergone surgery. A period ofexcessive immobility, coupled with the use of analgesic and sedative medicationamong others, can lead to the occurrence of side effects that would lead to adeterioration in the level of health of the patient.For this reason, this project tries to describe such non-pharmacological care,relating them to the different surgical interventions to check later the degree ofcompliance. The purpose of this project is to improve the quality of care providedby health workers.
