AB From the beginning, workers have always been exposed to accidents at workbecause they have been carrying out their occupational duties in the workplace. Itwas not until 1900 that this concept had a consolidated regulatory definition, whichhas been maintained in a similar form up to the present day. However, it was notuntil 1954 that the accident in itinere was recognised in case law. As a result, thefollowing Final Degree Project aims to analyse the current situation of both thetypical accident at work and the accident in itinere that has arisen subsequently inlegislation, since in order to understand the accident at work in itinere, one mustbegin with the accident at work. The requirements that are indispensable for theconsideration of this are defined, including the interpretations given by the differentSpanish Courts, as well as an explanation of the casuistry of the accident at work initinere
