Both authors conceptualise this vehement criticism of Demosthenes, seeking to condemn the consequences of his entire public career. We will attempt to definethesemantic scope of this formula, taking into account the historical-political context in whichthese speeches were composed. Furthermore, we will verify its deep link with several rhetori-cal and stylistic devices. PB Servicio de Publicaciones.
