RT info:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesis T1 Nuevas técnicas de adquisición de light field y fase de frente de onda A1 Trujillo Sevilla, Juan Manuel AB Conventional imaging sensors are only capable of acquiring information on intensity, leaving aside the wave-front phase of the complex field. The wave-front phase contains information on the propagation direction of light rays and can be used to study the media in which the light has propagated. In the first part of this work we study the use of the plenoptic sensor as a wave-front phase sensor. Its potential in wave-front phase measurement is demonstrated not only in conventional wave-front measurement systems, but also in wave-front phase tomography. The plenoptic sensor is extensively used in 3D imaging and computational photography. Its main drawbacks are the lower spatial resolution and the increased complexity of its optical system. In the second part of this work, the response of the plenoptic sensor is studied in order to improve the final resolution of images. Finally, an alternative method is proposed that yields results analogous to those obtained with a plenoptic sensor, but using a conventional imaging sensor.
