El bullying desde la percepción del profesorado de Educación Primaria, Secundaria y Bachillerato

2018Abstract
This study was focus on know the teachers’ perception about bullying in their classes and
educational centres at Primary and Secondary school, in order to establish the knowledge
of the teachers about this problem. Moreover we want know the perceptions that they
have about their schools and the actions they are carrying out in bullying situations. For
that, we submitted a descriptive study wich we passed a questionnaire ad hoc to 224
Primary and Secondary School teachers from different schools in Tenerife. Based of the
questionnaire we established that teachers know the concept of bullying, but they have
problems to identify it in everyday situations and they demand specific training to deal
with bullying situations. Este estudio se ha centrado en conocer la percepción del profesorado de las etapas de
Educación Primaria, Secundaria y Bachillerato respecto al bullying en sus centros y aulas,
con el fin de establecer los conocimientos que tienen respecto a este fenómeno, además
de conocer las percepciones que tienen sobre su incidencia en los centros y sobre las
actuaciones que llevan a cabo ante situaciones de acoso escolar. Para ello se ha llevado a
cabo un estudio descriptivo con la aplicación de un cuestionario ad hoc a una muestra de
224 profesores y profesoras de las etapas de Primaria, Secundaria y Bachillerato de
diferentes centros de la isla de Tenerife. A partir de este cuestionario, se puedo confirmar
que, a pesar de que los docentes conocen conceptualmente lo que es el bullying, tienen
dificultades para identificarlo en situaciones cotidianas y demandan formación y
cualificación específica para tratar de forma adecuada dicho problema.
