Las desigualdades educativas con respecto al género en las leyes de educación a partir de 1970 en España

Abstract

Este trabajo trata de analizar las desigualdades de género en educación a través del estudio de las distintas leyes educativas. La ideología y comportamientos de la ciudadanía ha ido evolucionando positivamente: la tradición fija unos estereotipos patriarcales que determinaban al hombre como el cabeza de familia, y la mujer como ama de casa. La formación académica para ambas funciones era pues muy diferente. Sin embargo, a medida que han ido aplicándose las diferentes leyes educativas, fruto de las necesidades de modernización y democratización de la sociedad, el sistema educativo ha contribuido a cambiar la situación de la mujer. Tomando como referente el modelo de la coeducación, y de donde partíamos, veremos como en nuestro país la oportunidad de despegue serán los años 70. Aunque, ello no significa que los procesos históricos y políticos hayan sido lineales y sin conflictos.

This work tries to analyze the inequalities of gender in education through the study of the different educational laws. The ideology and behavior of citizens has evolved positively: the tradition sets patriarchal stereotypes that determined the man as the head of the family, and the woman as a housewife. The academic training for both functions was therefore very different. However, as the different educational laws have been applied, the result of the modernization and democratization needs of society, the educational system has contributed to change the woman’s situation. Taking as reference the model of coeducation, and where we started, we will see how in our country the opportunity to take off will be the 70s. Although, this does not mean that the historical and political processes have been linear and without conflicts.
