The objective of this study was to analyze the connection between strengths found in women who have experienced gender-based violence, and two indicators of resilience, subjective well-being and post-traumatic growth. The responses of 27 female survivors were analyzed using a cross-sectional design. It was used an instrument that assessed three types of strengths: regulatory, interpersonal, and related to meaning-making. In addition, subjective well-being and post-traumatic growth were also measured. The results supported that the density of strengths associates with greater better well-being and post-traumatic growth. The lineal regressions carried out indicated positive relationships between coping and well-being, as well as between persistence and posttraumatic growth. These results open new avenues for research and intervention with women who have suffered gender-based violence.en
