In this article, the conceptions that Plautus’ Miles gloriosus characters
have about love and women are analized. The age and social class of these
characters are the factors that determine their visions and attitudes which
oppose and contrast dialectically through the comedy, they configuring love
teme as the centre of Plautus’ dramatic game.
