dc.description.abstractThis paper displays a series of facts which attract our attention in Daphnis and Chloe's composition. We outline three theories that try to explain them. The themy of the pictorial influence on Longa is evident. It is startingfrom this influence, that affects not only the contents with three elements but also the triadic morphosyntactic structures, that we can talk of poetic prose. Without this pictorial influence it would not had been triadic composition.en
