dc.description.abstract | On the basis ofAristotle's statement in the Poetics about the origin of Tragedy from the satyric spirit, the author examines the themes, plots, style and diction ofSaorr-Play in order ro define more accurately the existingrelationships between the two dramatic genres especially in the treatment of the traditional myth. As a result one may say that beneath its apparent comicity, greek Satyr-Play has a ethical seriousness which can be percei ved in the remainingfragments. | en |
