La estética surrealista en la obra de Amelia Pisaca

Abstract

Este artículo analiza la obra pictórica de la artista Amelia Pisaca y la influencia que el surrealismo ha tenido en su carrera. Hace una valoración crítica de sus exposiciones desde 1990 hasta el año 2006, tanto en su faceta pintora como ilustradora. Además, estudia los elementos determinantes de su plástica: el mundo onírico, la naturaleza fantástica, la lucha constante entre la vida y la muerte, la sensualidad y el erotismo. Asimismo, investiga las principales características del movimiento surrealista que la autora retoma y forma con ellos un nuevo lenguaje. Igualmente, su pintura está influida por las teorías de Freud, los estados interiores de la mente y las alucinaciones. También, la autora ha ido enriqueciéndose con nuevas aportaciones que provienen de la mitología clásica, las imágenes de los bestiarios medievales y la obra sugerente de El Bosco.

This article analyses the pictorial work of the artist Amelia Pisaca and the influence that the Surrealism has had in her career. It makes a critical evaluation of her exhibitions from 1990 to 2006, as much as painter and illustrator. It studies the determinant elements in her plastic work: the world of the dreams, the constant fight between the life and the death, the sensuality and the eroticism. Moreover, it investigates the main characteristics of the surrealist movement that the artist takes and forms with them a new language. Likewise her painting has been influenced by Freud’s theories, the internal states of the mind and the hallucinations. The painter has also gone enriching herself with new contributions that come from the mythology, the images of the medieval bestiaries and The Bosco’s suggestive work.
