Los problemas que trata este artículo son los diferentes usos del término Menfis, la dificultad en determinar su
ubicación exacta, su extensión, su permanencia en el tiempo como una metrópolis influyente y las razones para
su “desaparición”.
The different uses of the term Memphis, the difficulty in determining its exact location, its extension, its permanence
in time as an influential metropolis, and the reasons for its “disappearance” are the main questions addressed in
