La comedia rural española de los cincuenta como consecuente de Bienvenido Mr. Marshall

Abstract

La gran repercusión a nivel popular y crítico de Bienvenido Mister Marshall (1952), de Berlanga, originó que en los años posteriores al estreno de la película aparecieran en el cine español varios títulos que intentaban calcar los rasgos que confirieron de gran éxito al mítico filme del realizador valenciano: ambientación rural, tono amable de comedia y contexto político internacional con presencia estadounidense. Algunos investigadores han advertido la presencia de estos consecuentes fílmicos de la destacada película de Berlanga, pero ninguno de ellos ha analizado el grado de interés entre el modelo original y los filmes inspirados en él. Este artículo pretende llenar este hueco.

The big impact at the grassroots level and critic Berlanga’s Bienvenido Mister Marshall (1952), because during the years following the release of the film, appeared in several Spanish cinema titles that attempted to trace the traits conferred by the legendary success film by the director of Valencia: rural atmosphere, friendly tone of comedy and international political context U.S. presence. Some researchers have noted the consistent presence of the Berlanga’s feature film, but none has analyzed the degree of interest between the original model and the films inspired by it. This article aims to fill this gap.
