Miedos y fobias: la infancia, la familia y la escuela

Abstract

El objeto de estudio de este proyecto de investigación es el miedo infantil y sus derivaciones en posibles fobias. Se plantea este tema por un desconocimiento mayoritario en las aulas y en las familias. El estudio se sitúa en la etapa de Educación Infantil y pretende dar respuesta a diferentes incertidumbres, favoreciendo así, el conocimiento del tema y las intervenciones desde diferentes perspectivas educativas, se pretende desvelar posibles mejoras. A lo largo de la literatura se intenta definir los conceptos y el conocimiento sobre el tema, el miedo, su procedencia y como se desarrolla en niños, niñas y adultos. Se propone una metodología mixta, cuantitativa y cualitativa, con preguntas cerradas para recoger la opinión de las familias y otras entrevistas personales con respuestas libres para conocer la perspectiva de los expertos. Se quiere dar respuesta al miedo infantil y al estado de atención de este tema en las aulas. Podremos comprobar como el miedo es un tema poco abordado desde la literatura, además desde las aulas, se detecta una necesidad de formar los docentes en habilidades que permitan apoyar a las familias que lo padezcan.

The object of study of this research project is childhood fear and its derivations in possible phobias. This issue is raised by a majority ignorance in classrooms and families. The study is in the stage of Early Childhood Education and aims to respond to different uncertainties, thus promoting knowledge of the subject and interventions from different educational perspectives, it is intended to reveal possible improvements. Throughout the literature we try to define concepts and knowledge about the subject, fear, its origin and how it develops in children and adults. A mixed, quantitative and qualitative methodology is proposed, with closed questions to gather the opinion of the families and other personal interviews with free answers to know the perspective of the experts. We want to respond to the childhood fear and the attention status of this issue in the classroom. We will be able to see how fear is an issue that has not been tackled since the literature, and from the classrooms, a need is detected to train teachers in skills that allow them to support families that suffer from it.
