Kamishibai: Leyendas Guanches en la Educación Primaria

Abstract

En el marco de Educación Primaria en Canarias son bastantes los recursos didácticos que se pueden encontrar a la hora de presentar el estilo de vida de los antiguos pobladores de las Islas Canarias. Sobre este tema existen a su vez diversas formas de presentar la narración de leyendas que tratan exclusivamente sobre los antiguos pobladores. Se han creado cuentos ilustrados, historias breves, poesías, etc. Pero no se ha trabajado con una técnica de reconocido éxito utilizada en la actualidad como herramienta de cuentacuentos: el Kamishibai. Pues es aquí donde surge una posibilidad atractiva de acercar al alumnado de Educación Primaria hasta la vida y costumbre de los antiguos canarios enmarcando dicha oportunidad en las áreas de Ciencias Sociales y Lengua Castellana y Literatura. Presento una propuesta didáctica basada en la creación de un material didáctico con temática de una leyenda de los antiguos pobladores de Canarias, cuyo formato narrativo es la técnica japonesa de contar cuentos Kamishibai.

Within the framework of Primary Education in the Canary Islands, there are many didactic resources that can be found when presenting the lifestyle of the ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands. On this subject there are in turn different ways of presenting the narrative of legends that deal exclusively with the ancient settlers. Illustrated stories, short stories, poems, etc. have been created. But it has not worked with a technique of recognized success used nowadays as a tool of storytelling: the Kamishibai. It is here that an attractive possibility arises to bring the students of Primary Education up to the life and custom of the old Canarian framing this opportunity in the areas of Social Sciences and Spanish Language and Literature. I present a didactic proposal based on the creation of a didactic material with the theme of a legend of the ancient inhabitants of the Canary Islands, whose narrative format is the Japanese Kamishibai storytelling technique.
