Lenguajes del universo

Abstract

In the primary education stage, the study of language focuses on the written and oral expression of the first language of the students, and in two foreign languages (to a lesser extent). These are languages that stand in the same category, and are so similar with one another that they could be indistinguishable for an extraterrestrial intelligence, which could operate in a totally different environment. But what is the language? How many types are there? Are they universal? This intervention proposal, it is intended to make students aware of the different types of existing languages, their usefulness and suitability, connecting astrobiology with the area of language, for a possible contact with extraterrestrial intelligences.

En la etapa de educación primaria, el estudio del lenguaje se concentra en la expresión escrita y oral del idioma materno del alumnado y en dos lenguas extranjeras (en menor medida). Estos son lenguajes que se encuentran en la misma categoría y son tan similares entre sí que podrían ser indistinguibles para una inteligencia extraterrestre, que podría operar en un entorno totalmente diferente. Pero ¿qué es el lenguaje?, ¿cuántos tipos hay?, ¿son universales? En esta propuesta de intervención en el aula, se pretende hacer consciente al alumnado de los diferentes tipos de lenguajes existentes, su utilidad y su adecuación, conectando la astrobiología con el área del lenguaje, para un posible contacto con inteligencias extraterrestres.
