La voz de la elite normativa turística: Inspección turística. El caso gallego

Abstract

Este breve análisis quiere dar a conocer el importante trabajo que desarrolla la Inspección Turística, y más concretamente, la gallega. Los responsables del cumplimiento de la aplicación normativa turística son los integrantes del cuerpo de funcionarios de la Inspección Turística, que realizan un trabajo fundamental para el óptimo funcionamiento del sector y de la Administración. Sin embargo su tarea es en general poco conocida; con una labor que se asocia a una función estrictamente supervisora o disciplinaria. Pero realizan una función asesora y preventiva vital, y únicamente aplican la sanción cuando han fallado las anteriores actuaciones.

This brief analysis is a high claim to publicize the vital work carried out by the Inspection developing tourism, particularly the Galician. Those responsible for the proper performance of the tourism policy implementation are the members of the civil service of Tourist Inspection, whose work is crucial for optimal performance of the sector and the government. But the work of tourism inspectors is generally poorly known, is associated with a strictly supervisory and preventive role. However, the inspectorate of tourism advises and makes a vital preventive role and the penalty applies only when the above measures have failed.
