dc.description.abstract | El burnout es el fenómeno de estrés laboral más común en los trabajadores de aquellas profesiones de carácter más asistencial. Este estudio trata de analizar y comparar su prevalencia en los docentes en activo y el profesorado en formación de las etapas de Educación Infantil y Primaria de la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias, profundizando en el análisis de los principales factores que inciden en la motivación de los docentes a la hora de ejercer la docencia y de seleccionar esta profesión. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se ha realizado una investigación de carácter cuantitativo, en la que se ha recabado información de un total de 208 sujetos, sobre los que se ha atendido a diferentes variables (género, perfil profesional y etapa docente) en el análisis de las respuestas dadas al cuestionario “Maslach Burnout Inventory”, el “Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey” y el “Factors Influencing Teaching Choice Scale” y que muestran diferencias significativas para algunas de las dimensiones entre las variables analizadas. | |
dc.description.abstract | Burnout is the most common job stress phenomenon in workers of care professions. This study tries to analyze and compare its prevalence in active teachers and teachers in training of the Early Years and Primary Education stages of the Canary Islands, deepening the analysis of the main factors that influence the motivation of teachers at the time of teaching and selecting this profession. To achieve this objective, a quantitative investigation has been carried out, in which information has been collected from a total of 208 subjects, on which different variables have been attended (gender, professional profile and teaching stage) in the analysis of the answers given to the “Maslach Burnout Inventory” questionnaire, the “Maslach Burnout InventoryStudent Survey” and the “Factors Influencing Teaching Choice Scale” and that show significant differences for some of the dimensions between the analyzed variables. | |
