La producción escrita en L1 y L2 en Primaria

Abstract

This research is to analyze the production level of Elementary School students referring to First and Second Language acquisition in writing production. It also tries to clarify the differencies between first, second and third level students. In order to do this, assesment tests were provided. The tests were IPAE (Jiménez y Gil, 2019) and its adaptation to the English Level. Two schools from metropolitan area were tested. The population tested was n= 98. The results showed that the production in the first language was much more elaborated than in the second language, increasing with the years of the students.

Esta investigación tiene por objetivo analizar el nivel de rendimiento del alumnado de Educación Primaria de Canarias en cuanto a L1 y L2 en producción escrita, así como analizar las diferencias entre primer, segundo y tercer curso. Para ello se administraron dos tareas del test de evaluación IPAE (Jiménez y Gil, 2019) en español e inglés. Se evaluaron dos centros del área metropolitana de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a una población de n=98. Los resultados encontrados evidencian que la producción en L1 es mayor que en L2 y que según avanza la edad del alumnado aumenta la producción de L2. También, que el alumnado rinde más en L1 que en L2.
