El lado oscuro de la maternidad en la literatura griega

Abstract

En este artículo nos ocupamos de textos literarios griegos que registran comportamientos tradicionalmente considerados anómalos en la figura de la madre. Recogemos ejemplos de madres que no protegen a su prole, sino que, en algunos casos, la aniquilan.

In this paper we will analyse Greek literary texts which show attitudes traditionally considered unusual in mother’s role. We will present cases not only of mothers who do not protect their offspring and but also of those who even murder them.
