Estudio del perfil del turista alemán en la zona sur de la isla de Tenerife : el turismo activo como un modelo alternativo

Abstract

El presente trabajo se centra en un estudio del perfil del turista alemán, ya que la isla de Tenerife es uno de los destinos turísticos de los alemanes por excelencia, estudio que gira en torno a aspectos como el rango de edad, las actividades que realiza en la isla, la motivación de su viaje o sus preferencias respecto a la hora de elegir el destino. La realización de este trabajo tiene como objetivo conocer al turista alemán que visita la isla de Tenerife para, una vez que se hayan analizado los resultados obtenidos, potenciar un tipo de turismo que sea más acorde a sus preferencias, un turismo alternativo al actual modelo de sol y playa, como puede ser el turismo activo. Para la investigación de este presente estudio, se recopiló información de entidades públicas como SPET además de entrevistas y encuestas a turistas alemanes que pasaban su estancia en el sur de Tenerife en el segundo cuatrimestre del año 2019.

Tenerife is one of the German tourist destinations par excellence.The work shown below focuses on a study of the profile of the German tourist; what is the age range of the tourist, what activities they do on the island, what is the motivation of their trip, their preferences regarding the time to choose the destination. The aim of this work is to get to know the German tourist who visits the island of Tenerife in order, once the results obtained have been analysed, to promote a type of tourism that is more in line with their preferences, an alternative tourism to the current model of sun and beach, such as the setting of active tourism. For the investigation of this study, information was collected from public entities such as SPET as well as interviews and surveys of German tourists who spent their stay in the south of Tenerife in the second quarter of 2019.
