Turismo Cultural, Festa Católica, Patrimônio de Fé e Culto em São Cristóvão-Sergipe-Brasil

Abstract

Turismo, patrimônio cultural e religiosidade se revelam como elementos para a busca de uma atividade vinculada ao lazer, educação, mas também para a produção e valorização de bens culturais e suas manifestações. Nesse âmbito, o presente artigo objetiva analisar a Festa do Senhor dos Passos, des- crevendo os seus valores históricos, culturais, turísticos, sociais e artísticos. A metodologia de pesquisa, para apreensão dos elementos culturais que estão vinculados à festa religiosa, perpassou pela pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e de campo. Ao final se constatou que com os elementos culturais que compõem o arcabouço da celebração, o centro antigo da cidade onde se realiza a festa, tem potencial para promover o turismo religioso católico no estado de Sergipe.

manifestations. In this context, this article aims to analyze the Festival of Senhor dos Passos, describing their historical, cultural, tourist, social and artistic values. The methodology for the seizure of cultural elements that are linked to the religious festival, elapses through the literature, documentary and field. At the end it was found that with the cultural elements that make up the framework of the celebration, the historic centre where the festival takes place, has potential to promote the catholic religious tourism in the State of Sergipe.
