dc.description.abstract | A proposal of a series of illustrations, bearing the title of She-monsters and He-beauties, is presented to work in this TFG not only as mere pieces of art but also as social denouncement products. Taking as departure point the famous myth of Beauty and the Beast, the stereotype of love relationship between a beautiful woman and a monstrous man is turned upside down, showing exactly the opposite samples: “ugly” women (as freaky monsters) inspiring affection and love to “beautiful” and graceful men.
