Análisis e identificación molecular de microorganismos presentes en pintura sobre tela

Abstract

El análisis del biodeterioro y la identificación de las especies que degradan una obra es la base en la que debemos apoyarnos los restauradores y restauradoras para abordar la elección de un tratamiento de desinfección para cada obra. En el presente trabajo se lleva a cabo un estudio del biodeterioro en general, y del efecto de los hongos sobre la tela en particular. Además, se realiza el análisis con imagen multiespectral y microscopio digital del biodeterioro presente en tres pinturas sobre tela. El estudio concluye con la identificación de las especies presentes en cada supuesto mediante técnicas de identificación molecular.

The analysis of the biodeterioration and the identification of the species that degrade an artwork is the base upon which restorers must utilize in order to decide an specific treatment for each artwork. In the present work a study of biodeterioration in general, and the effect of fungi on the paintings in particular is carried out. In addition, the multispectral photography and digital microscope analysis of the biodeterioration present in three paintings on canvas is performed, and then the identification of the species present in each case is concluded by means of molecular identification techniques.
