Desarrollo turístico: de la ética de los principios a la práctica del turismo responsable

Abstract

La presente contribución aspira a presentar una serie de reflexiones, producto de la diversidad de actividades que confluyen en la responsabilidad universitaria: la investigación y la docencia, la transferencia y la consultoría, en el ejercicio cotidiano de los modos del conocer: la teoría, la crítica y la práctica respecto del devenir de la actividad turística. Tales reflexiones, planteadas en el transcurso del tiempo, se centran en la consideración de diferentes cuestiones relevantes de la problemática turística que pueden identificarse en la dialéctica que postulan ciertas nociones: consumo y usufructo, crecimiento y desarrollo, global y local, acción y responsabilidad y que en el ejercicio de la actividad implican postular los principios que generen un turismo diferente y mejor.

This contribution aims to present a series of reflections, due to the diversity of activities that shaped our university responsibility: research and teaching, transfer and consulting in the daily exercise of the ways of knowing: theory, review and practice regarding the future of tourism. These reflections, arising in the course of time, focus on the consideration of different issues relevant in the tourism problem that can be identified in the dialectic that posit some notions: consumption and enjoyment, growth and development, global and local action and accountability and in the conduct of business apply the principles imply that generate tourism different and better.
