Patrimonio y Ciudadanía: construcción de identidades en Taco

Abstract

This research raises the relevance of the relations of citizens with their environment in a context of resignification of urban spaces. Through the study of a case study (the territory of Taco), we will analyze the role of citizens in the construction of the cultural heritage of their living space as an expression of their collective identity, reinforced through the improvement of the conditions of various spaces of socialization. For this, we have used a qualitative research methodology, in which the shared experience of citizenship prevails, so a participant observation of the community under study was carried out. The results obtained confirm the positive transformation of the environment reaching higher levels of social cohesion and identity reinforcement. The planned reformulation of citizens' relations with the territory that it assimilates as part of their identity thus leads to a process of patrimonialization by the community. For the implementation of the contents and aspects present in this investigation, we have considered it pertinent and necessary to include an outline of a use and management project, which develops the idea of establishing an Itinerant Heritage Classroom in the Taco territory.

Esta investigación plantea la relevancia de las relaciones de la ciudadanía con su entorno en un contexto de resignificación de los espacios urbanos. A través del estudio de un caso práctico (el territorio de Taco), analizaremos el protagonismo de la ciudadanía en la construcción del patrimonio cultural de su espacio vital como expresión de su identidad colectiva, reforzada a través de la mejora de las condiciones de diversos espacios de socialización. Para ello, hemos utilizado una metodología de investigación cualitativa, en la que prima la experiencia compartida de la ciudadanía, por lo que se realizó una observación participante de la comunidad sujeto de estudio. Los resultados obtenidos confirman la transformación positiva del entorno alcanzando mayores niveles de cohesión social y refuerzo identitarios. La reformulación planificada de las relaciones de la ciudadanía con el territorio que asimila como parte de su identidad desemboca, pues, en un proceso de patrimonialización por la comunidad. Para la puesta en práctica de los contenidos y aspectos presentes en esta investigación, hemos considerado pertinente y necesario incluir un esbozo de proyecto de uso y gestión, que desarrolle la idea de instaurar un Aula de Patrimonio Itinerante en el territorio de Taco.
