La réserve de biosphère de l'arganeraie: un nouvel Eco-territoire touristique au sud du Maroc

Abstract

La réserve de biosphère de l’arganeraie (RBA) est un territoire unique au sud du royaume du Maroc. Elle a décrochée ce statut en 1998 grâce à son écosystème, sa forêt d’arganier unique au monde et les multiples activités socioculturelles Amazighes (berbères) qui en découlent. La RBA regorge de potentialités touristiques naturelles, humaines et culturelles. Aujourd’hui, il est primordial de mettre en place un Eco -territoire touristique dans cette région. Cela nécessite, tout d’abord, une parfaite connaissance de ce territoire et de ses enjeux ainsi qu’une approche intégrée et concertée avec l’ensemble des acteurs locaux. L’implémentation d’une stratégie globale et participative pourra intégrer la sauvegarde et la valorisation du patrimoine naturel et socioculturel, la mise à niveau de la qualité de l’offre, une promotion globale du territoire et de ses produits touristiques et un système d’autoévaluation de l’ensemble des actions menées dans la RBA.

The Argan Biosphere Reserve (ABR) is a unique territory in the South of Morocco. It has obtained this status in 1998 thanks to its ecosystem, its unique forest in the world and its numerous cultural Amazigh (Berber) activities. The ABR has a strong natural, human and cultural potential as far as tourism is concerned. Nowadays, it is essential to establish a tourism eco -territory in this region. This requires, first of all, a perfect knowledge of the territory and its issues and the implementation of an integrated and coordinated approach with all the local stakeholders. The implementation of a comprehensive and participatory strategy will integrate the protection and development of the natural and socio -cultural heritage, the improvement of the quality of tourism structures, the global promotion of the territory and its tourism products as well as a self -assessment of every action in the ABR.
