Instantánea tifinagh. De las inscripciones rupestres a los actuales alfabetos tuareg

Abstract

En muy pocos lugares del mundo es posible observar las distintas fases evolutivas de la escritura: uno de estos enclaves excepcionales es el Sáhara, donde las inscripciones rupestres más antiguas son testimonio de una grafía que ha permanecido vigente hasta la actualidad entre los tuareg. La convivencia con miembros de este grupo social en una pequeña aldea al sur de Tamanrasset (Argelia) ha sido elegida como contenido de este trabajo, en el que trazamos un recorrido a través del tiempo para contrastar las primeras etapas de una de las modalidades del líbico-bereber con los hábitos escriturarios en los alfabetos tifinagh.

In very few places around the World is it possible to observe the different evolutionary phases of writing: one of these exceptional enclaves is the Sahara, where the oldest rock inscriptions are testimonies of a writing that has remained effective until the present among the Tuareg. The coexistence with members of this social group in a small village south of Tamanrasset (Algeria) has been chosen as the contents of this work, in which we outline a path through time in order to contrast the first stages of one of the libyco- berber modalities with the writing habits of the tifinagh alphabets.
