Mozarabía versus Islam: ¿convivencia o intransigencia?

Abstract

Considering a series of inscriptions found in Cordova and dated back to a concrete period, the Xth. Cent., the author thinks that the theory of a peaceful convivence among the different religious groups (Muslims, Christians and Jews) in Al-Andalus is very doubtful. It would be better to talk about of a tolerance that is a very different subject.

Teniendo en cuenta una serie de inscripciones encontradas en Córdoba, de alrededor del siglo X, el autor considera que la teoría de la convivencia pacífica entre diferentes grupos religiosos (musulmanes, cristianos y judíos) en al-Andalus es muy dudosa. Sería mejor hablar de tolerancia, que es un concepto muy diferente.
