El orden de palabras en español

Abstract

El problema del orden de las palabras en español no es nuevo. La novedad reside en su tratamiento. Ello se debe a que tradicionalmente el estudio del tema, siguiendo la línea de los autores latinos, se ha realizado desde la perspectiva de la retórica. A partir de la publicación del Curso superior de sintaxis española de S. Gili Gaya se han propuesto soluciones muy interesantes desde puntos de vista propiamente gramaticales. En nuestro análisis nos centramos, por un lado, en el orden no contrastivo que suelen observar los elementos sintácticos en el esquema sintagmático, y en la posición del adjetivo y del adverbio, y, por otro, en el orden marcado, en el que nos ocupamos de la focalización y de la confirmación o ruptura de las expectativas del interlocutor.

The problem of word order in Spanish is not new. The newness resides in its treatment. It is due to the fact that the study of this topic, following the line of the Latin authors, has traditionally be made from a rhetoric perspective. From the publication of the S. Gili Gaya Curso superior de sintaxis española very interesting solutions have been seted out from properly grammar points of view. In this analysis I centre, on the one hand, on the noncontrastive order which the syntactic elements observe in the sintagmatique scheme, and in the adjective and adverb position, and, on the other hand, on the marked order, in which I take care of focalization and of confirmation or rupture of the interlocutor expectations.
