The problem of inequality directly and indirectly affects the various social
categories of our society. That is why, starting from this question, we analyze how they
affect the discrimination suffered by women and individuals belonging to the LGBITQ
collective in the labor market. We propose how the labor market is a direct area where
the crossing of various oppressions arises. And how, the social categories that refer to
the female gender, non-binary sexual orientation or non-Aryan race are more exposed
to receiving discriminatory treatment in said work environment. The methodology that
has been used is characterized by developing a theoretical framework that makes it
easier for us to gain an in-depth understanding of how social inequalities have affected
the different social categories from a labor perspective, pointing to continuous graphics
obtained from official statistical sources where it will offer us a more insight dynamics
of questions regarding how inequalities affect unemployment rates or also, in their
professional capacity. Another key element within the theoretical framework is The
Wheel of Privileges, presented by Collins, P. (2002). In which it allows us to
differentiate the different oppressed social categories and those that enjoy privilege.
And how the concept of intersectionality first raised by Crenshaw, K. (1990), helps us
to know the existence of the different oppressions of different categories, which an
individual may face.
