Percepción social de los menores infractores.

Abstract

El principal objetivo de esta investigación es conocer la percepción que tienen las personas acerca de los menores infractores, en relación a distintas variables como las características y los valores atribuidos a estos menores, las característica atribuidas a las familias de las que provienen, las causas por las que cometen delitos, la valoración sobre la reincidencia de la delincuencia juvenil y, finalmente, se ha estudiado en qué medida algunas características sociodemográficas de los participantes (su edad, su género y si cuentan (o no) con formación específica en el ámbito de la infancia y la familia y/o en el ámbito penitenciario) influyen en su valoración de las cuestiones mencionadas. En esta investigación, se obtuvo una muestra de 60 participantes, donde los resultados principales hacen referencia a que los participantes atribuyen a los menores infractores un pobre desarrollo personal, basado en la inseguridad y la baja autoestima, entre otros; pertenecientes a familias desestructuradas; que cometen delitos debido a la falta de transmisión de valores y, donde existe más probabilidad de reincidencia

The main objective of this research is to know the perception that people have about youth offenders, in relation to different variables such as the characteristics and attributed values to youth offenders, the attributed characteristics to the families from which they come from, the causes for those who commit crimes, the assessment of the recidivism of juvenile delinquency and finally, it has been studied to what extent some sociodemographic characteristics of the participants (their age, their gender and whether they have (or not) specific training in the field of childhood and family and/or in the prison environment) influence their assessment of the issues mentioned. In this research, was obtained a sample of 60 participants, where the main results refer to the fact that the participants attribute to the youth offenders a por personal development, based on insecurity and low self-esteem, among others; belonging to broken families; who commit crimes due to the lack of transmission of values and, where there is a greater probability of recidivism of juvenile delinquency compared to the commission of crimes in adulthood.
