Valoración de la efectividad del tratamiento del estreñimiento funcional en edad pediátrica

Introducción: El estreñimiento funcional, definido mediante los criterios de ROMA IV,
es una enfermedad muy prevalente con una fisiopatología multifactorial.
Objetivos: Demostrar estadísticamente la efectividad del tratamiento del estreñimiento
funcional en edad pediátrica del HUC.
Material y métodos: Recogida de datos mediante la historia clínica y llamada telefónica
a los padres de niños de 0 a 14 años diagnosticados de estreñimiento funcional en las
consultas de pediatría del HUC.
Resultados: No hay resultados propios debido a la situación actual. Por ello, se discutirá
la eficacia del tratamiento basándonos en datos de artículos de actualidad.
Conclusiones: El tratamiento del HUC cumple con las bases del tratamiento más efectivo
actualmente. Aun así, para cumplir el objetivo del estudio es necesaria la recogida de
datos. Background: Functional constipation, defined by ROMA IV criteria, it is a very
prevalent disease with a multifactorial pathophysiology.
Objectives: To demonstrate the statistically effectiveness of treatment of functional
constipation in pediatric age of HUC.
Methods: Data collection through the medical history and telephone call to the parents
of children from 0 to 14 years old diagnosed with functional constipation in the pediatric
consultations of the HUC.
Results: There are no own results due to the current situation. Therefore, the efficacy of
the treatment will be discussed based on data from current articles.
Conclusions: The HUC’s treatment meets the foundation of the most effective treatment
today. Still, to meet the objective of the study, data collection is necessary.
