dc.description.abstract | This project shows the fundamental role that design plays in scientific communication, presenting studies that address the impacts of climate change from a perspective that goes from the global situation to particular examples in the Canary Islands, such as the future Punta de Fuencaliente Climate Change Observatory ( The Palm). Specifically, it deals with the problem of ocean acidification: what it is and what effects it has on the marine, terrestrial and atmospheric environment. The main objective of this TFG is to put design at the service of science, providing a more effective way to communicate complex investigations to all social actors, entailing an educational resource especially suitable for university and secondary school teachers and students, as well as Public Administrations. To reach this goal, an explanatory animation has been created in which this concept is exposed, generating a visual narrative that prioritizes scientific rigor without disregarding the aesthetic component | en |
