¿Ánforas romanas en las islas canarias? Revisión de un aparente espejismo histórico

Abstract

Después de 30 años del primer hallazgo subacuático de un ánfora romana en las Islas Canarias, el interés por el mismo se ha ido perdiendo, hasta ser actualmente infravalorado. Una revisión de las antiguas ánforas y de otras nuevas inéditas abre novedosas perspectivas para la investigación del comercio romano en el litoral atlántico africano que tuvo su límite meridional conocido en las Islas Canarias.

After 30 years of the first subacuatic discovery of a roman amphorae in the Canary Islands, the researchers have lost the interest about it, and now its has a low estimation. A new review of the old amphorae and another unpublished open new perspectives in the research about the roman trade in the african atlantic coast which had its meridional noted border in the Canary Islands.
