Mujer y Emigración Canarias-América (siglo XVIII)

Abstract

Este trabajo versa sobre el estudio de los procesos migratorios acontecidos en las Islas Canarias durante el siglo XVIII que, junto al contexto socioeconómico general, propiciaron el desarrollo de un período de crisis casi permanente. Pero lo importante aquí es el análisis historiográfico a través de la bibliografía sobre el grado de incidencia de la emigración, tanto directa como indirecta, en las mujeres y su papel dentro de la sociedad canaria de la época.

This work deals with the study of the migratory processes that occurred in the Canary Islands during the 18th century, which with the general socioeconomic context, led to the development of a period of almost permanent crisis. But what it is important here is the historiographic analysis through the bibliography on the degree of incidence of emigration, both directly and indirectly, on women and their role in Canarian society at this time.
