Relación entre estrés laboral y burnout y su consecuencia sobre la adicción a internet.

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, estudiamos la posible relación existente entre el estrés laboral y el síndrome de estar quemado por el trabajo, también conocido como burnout y la consecuencia que tiene dicha relación sobre la adicción a internet. Se ha realizado un estudio mediante tres escalas a un total de sesenta trabajadores que pertenecen a distintas profesiones. El cuestionario de estrés laboral, hace referencia al clima organizacional. El cuestionario de burnout tiene como función medir el desgaste profesional y el cuestionario de uso de internet trata de analizar si existe adicción a la red. Los resultados finalmente apuntan a que el estrés laboral y el burnout están relacionados y que la adicción a internet es consecuencia del síndrome de burnout, pero no del estrés laboral.

In the present work, we study the possible relationship between work stress and the syndrome of being burned by work, also known as burnout, and the consequence that this relationship has on internet addiction. A study using three scales has been carried out with a total of sixty workers belonging to different professions. The work stress questionnaire refers to the organizational climate. The function of the burnout questionnaire is to measure professional burnout and the internet use questionnaire tries to analyze whether there is an addiction to the internet. The results finally indicate that work stress and burnout are related and that internet addiction is a consequence of burnout syndrome, but not of work stress.
