La industria turística en la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias.

Abstract

This study consists of the analysis of the labor market in the tourist industry, especially in the Canary Islands, making special reference to the group of cleaners in hotel establishments, in which it is intended to learn more about the population that makes up this sector, the conditions with those who carry out the inherent activities of the same, in addition to making visible the inequality that currently exists between men and women. To do this, we have consulted the updated labor regulations, data collected from the National Institute of Statistics, Turespaña and the Ministry of Health.

Este estudio consiste en el análisis del mercado de trabajo en la industria turística, especialmente en la Comunidad Autónoma de Canarias, haciendo especial referencia al colectivo de limpiadoras en los establecimientos hoteleros, en el cual se pretende conocer más a fondo la población que conforma este sector, las condiciones con las que realizan las actividades inherentes del mismo, además de hacer visible la aun desigualdad que existe en la actualidad entre hombres y mujeres. Para ello, hemos consultado la normativa laboral actualizada, datos recogidos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Turespaña y Ministerio de Sanidad.
