Propuesta de protocolo: tratamiento fisioterápico en pre y post trasplante pulmonar

Abstract

Introducción: Las enfermedades respiratorias traen consigo una gran carga de salud, teniendo una alta prevalencia en la población. En el territorio español, el número de pacientes que se someten a trasplante pulmonar como solución a estos problemas, ha ido aumentando con el paso de los años. Objetivos: Desarrollar una propuesta de protocolo fisioterápico para actuar en el pre y post trasplante pulmonar que englobe las diferentes etapas del proceso. Desarrollo del tema: A través del protocolo dividido en preoperatorio y postoperatorio, que incluye una evaluación exhaustiva, fisioterapia respiratoria, reentrenamiento físico y educación para la salud, la rehabilitación respiratoria busca mejorar la calidad de vida de los individuos, disminuyendo la disnea y la fatiga y mejorando la resistencia al ejercicio. Conclusión: Durante todo el proceso del trasplante pulmonar, abarcando la pre y post cirugía, es necesario tener en cuenta puntos clave para la realización correcta del programa: una buena comunicación, individualización del tratamiento, apoyo al individuo y educación para la salud
