Griegos bizantinos en la Venecia del siglo XV

Abstract

A través de la vida y la obra de dos eruditos, Demetrio Ducas y Marcos Musuros, se analizarán las relaciones de los autores bizantinos griegos con los occidentales durante los siglos XV y XVI, relaciones que van más allá del campo de la filología, de la edición y traducción de textos y de la enseñanza del griego en las universidades europeas de la época.

The life and work of the scholars Demetrio Lucas and Marcos Musurus will be the base to analyze the relationship of Byzantine Greek authors with their occidental colleagues during the 15th and 16th centuries. Such relationship goes further than the field of Philology, edition and translation of texts and the teaching of Greek in the European Universities of this period.
