With this project we had two goals. The first one is to get familiarized with asteroseismology techniques to precisely determine masses and radii of stars. The second goal is to study
the surface rotation of numerical simulations of the PLATO mission and of real degraded
data obtained by the Kepler mission to simulate the observation conditions of the TESS
and PLATO missions. By analyzing these data, we want to find the limits of the current
methods used to determine surface rotation from light curves and evaluate the reliability and
completeness of the results.
