La influencia de la Regla de Osha en Canarias: religiosidad popular y sanación

Abstract

Por medio del presente trabajo se pretende abordar las transformaciones surgidas a partir de la influencia de las religiones afrocubanas en la medicina popular canaria y cómo han evolucionado estas religiones a partir del estudio de la especificidad canaria, generado unas prácticas y ritos de sanación distintos a los de origen. Este estudio tendrá en cuenta las regiones del Caribe, haciendo especial hincapié en Cuba y por otro lado el archipiélago canario. El objetivo que persigue este trabajo es analizar la evolución que la Regla de Osha ha experimentado en este territorio. Para alcanzar el objetivo propuesto se llevará a cabo el método deductivo a través de una metodología no participativa, realizando un análisis de fuentes tanto primarias como secundarias con la finalidad de desarrollar propuestas a través de preguntas que se vayan formulando en el transcurso de la investigación.

ABSTRACT The aim of the present work, is to address the transformations that have arisen from the influence of Afro-Cuban religions in Canarian folk medicine, and how these religions have evolved from the study of Canarian particularity, generating practices and healing rites different from those of the originally. This study will take into account the Caribbean regions, with special emphasis on Cuba and, on the other hand, the Canary Islands. The main objective of this work is to analyze the evolution that the Rule of Osha has experienced in that territory. To achieve the proposed objective, the deductive method will be carried out through a non-participatory methodology, carrying out an analysis of both primary and secondary sources in order to develop proposals through questions that are formulated in the course of the investigation.
