Diseño y creación de rutas cinematográficas en la isla de Tenerife

Abstract

El presente trabajo trata sobre el diseño y creación de dos rutas de turismo cinematográfico susceptibles de ser implementadas en la isla de Tenerife. Para ello, se ha realizado un estudio sobre el turismo cinematográfico a nivel internacional y su impacto económico en los destinos que lo han introducido en su oferta turística. Así mismo, se trata la importancia de la influencia de la Zona Especial Canaria (ZEC) y su relación con la atracción de productoras de cine nacional e internacional para la ejecución de diversos rodajes en las islas. Esto ha dado lugar, a la creación y puesta en marcha de los beneficios económicos derivados de la Canary Film Commission y la Tenerife Film Commission. El objetivo principal es poder ofrecer dos rutas cinematográficas, a través de la web/app ArcGIS Story Maps, utilizando el inventario que se ha creado con las localizaciones utilizadas para el rodaje de varias películas en Tenerife. Finalmente, se expone cómo afectaría la implantación de las rutas en los aspectos como la oferta turística, la imagen de destino y la economía canaria.

The present work deals with the design and creation of two cinematographic tourism routes that can be implemented in the island of Tenerife. For this purpose, a study has been carried out on film tourism at an international level and its economic impact on the destinations that have introduced it in their tourist offer. Likewise, the importance of the influence of the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC) and its relationship with the attraction of national and international film production companies for the execution of various film shoots on the islands was discussed. This has led to the creation and implementation of the economic benefits derived from the Canary Film Commission and the Tenerife Film Commission. The main objective is to be able to offer two film routes, through the web/app ArcGIS Story Maps, using the inventory that has been created with the locations used for the shooting of various films in Tenerife. Finally, it is explained how the implementation of the routes would affect aspects such as the tourist offer, the image of the destination and the Canarian economy.
