Procedimientos de carga y descarga

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende explicar los procedimientos generales aplicados en las operaciones de carga y descarga que se desarrollan en los buques petro-quimiqueros. Para este propósito hare uso de la información y la experiencia adquirida durante los 5 meses de embarque ininterrumpidos que realicé a bordo del buque tanque LOUKAS I. En referencia al contenido del trabajo, este se centrará en las operaciones de carga y descarga, así como el estudio de los componentes implicados durante el desarrollo de las operaciones, procedimientos y normativas de aplicación. En primero lugar detallaré las especificaciones técnicas del buque LOUKAS I. En segundo lugar, expondré los equipos implicados en las operaciones de carga y descarga para finalmente desarrollar los procedimientos de carga y descarga junto con los protocolos llevados a cabo durante todos los tramos de las operaciones. El resultado esperado es realizar una guía de cómo se realizan las operaciones de carga y descarga a bordo de los buques tanque, con el fin de ayudar a la comprensión de los elementos implicados en la carga y descarga, así como su operatividad

After 5 months working as cadet on board of the Chemical tanker ship “LOUKAS I” I had the opportunity of been in many operations, most of them loading and discharges of different kind of cargoes but not the only ones. Chemical Tankers Ships are vessels built to transport cargoes with special handling and required a high level of training to carry out the operations successfully. The principal aim of this work is to explain the different process involved on operations of loading and discharges. Finally, I will create a basic guide with the purpose of help to understand the different elements implicated on board of this vessel and the principals’ operations on board of tanker ships. This work Will start describing the vessel LOUKAS I and which ones are the technical specifications of this kind of vessels. Then, I Will explain the equipment that we can find on board and its functions during the operations of discharges and loading. Finally, with the help of the all the information and experiences acquired during my period as cadet, I Will create the procedures of loading and discharges and all the attached process that we can find in these operations. All the procedures are going to be substantiated on the maritime regulation and international agreements that rules involved with the management of cargoes on board of chemical tankers (SOLAS, ISGOTT, MARPOL, etc)
